This month in my Inside Crochet Masterclass

It might be rainy and miserable outside, but inside the pages of new issue Inside Crochet is sunny and glorious.

Issue 190 is packed full of fabulous makes. One of them are my ‘Alina’ socks, designed for the masterclass, where I take you through crocheting your first pair of socks.

This masterclass is not only perfect if you never tried making socks, but also if you are a pro and just fancy another pair. The yarns are ‘Head over Heels’ for the main
part, and Stylecraft Special 4ply for the heel and frilly cuff.

Inside Crochet magazine is available now.

Next Knit Holiday

Northern France Yarn Holiday by Rail with WYS

Monday 21st - Monday 28th September 2026

This tour invites you to explore the charming
city of Rouen, the beauty of Giverny, and the timeless elegance of Paris
and Versailles. In Rouen, we’ll enjoy a walking tour along the cobbled
streets and past the half-timbered houses, inspiration for some of
Claude Monet’s most famous paintings. We continue the Monet theme at his
gardens in Giverny, the living canvas that inspired some of his most
iconic works. In Paris we dive into the city’s vibrant fibre arts scene
with a curated yarn shopping experience, followed by a scenic Seine
River cruise that reveals Paris’ splendour from a new perspective. Our
holiday concludes with a day of regal grandeur at the Château de
Versailles, where opulence and history unfold in the gilded halls and
manicured gardens of France’s most famous royal residence

Workshop information: During
this holiday we will work on an accessory inspired by the works of
Claude Monet. Using a range of techniques, we will create a show
stopping item! The project will be available in knit and crochet.

Skill level: Crocheters and knitters need good basic skills and need to know how to read a written pattern.

New video - Winding yarn using a Nostepinne
