These super comfortable crochet socks are worked toe-up with an afterthought heel.
The very attractive and interesting stitch pattern is worked in two colours, using one colour per round.
Besides written instructions, the pattern also includes a chart and picture tutorial on how to work and join the stitch pattern. The tutorial is on the last pages so you do not need to print it out.
Please note that pattern is written using UK terminology with US conversion given in abbreviation list.
Materials
First colourway
West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4ply – 75% Wool 25% Nylon, 400 m (437 yrd) to 100 g
Colour A – Dusty Miller 129 x 1
Colour B – Passion Fruit Cooler 811 x 1
Second colourway
West Green Loft Yarns Classic Sock – 75% Superwash Merino 25% Nylon, 425 m to 100 g
Colour A – Ashes of Roses x 1
Colour B – Lallybroch x 1
I have used above yarn, but any 4ply/fingering yarn will be fine to use for these socks, taking into account that different fibers result in different finished effect.
You will also need:
3.00 mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain tension
2 x different colour lockable stitch markers

Sizing is easily adjustable in crochet socks, for example, if you have a narrow foot but long, make medium or small size in width and large in length.
