Fabulously cosy socks with sweet pompoms, perfect for lounging around the house, keeping your feet nice and warm during the cold winter’s evenings.
The lace part of the sock is worked flat after which the sock is worked in the rounds. These socks are knit from cuff down, with a tradition heel flap and heel turn. It’s a great pattern for a beginner sock knitter, and a fun quick knit for more advanced sock knitters.
I have updated the pattern as the original yarn has been discontinued. The socks have been re-knitted in West Yorkshire Spinners Croft DK.
You will use 1 ball and a bit for the socks with lace cuff, I have knitted pair of shortie socks from the rest of the yarn, instructions included in pattern.
My biggest apologies the I-cord should read: cast on 5 sts and not 3
Whoever has the digital version of the pattern the updated version should be in your inbox now, if you have the printed version the correction is above.
